Memories of Cruz St. John USV!
We sailed amongst the Virgin Islands on the Rebel Runner, a forty-foot ocean sailing boat. I was part of the gag that sailed it from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Tortola. It got on my means to Barbados.
We walked the capital of St. John one lazy night.. It had its share of aging hippies hanging around in the vivid Caribbean bars where food and liquor flowed easily with gossip and instant fiendship.
We ended up at Woodys Bar and Sea Gill. Woody received us with a brilliant laugh and effervescent attitude. He looked like Woody from the TV show Cheers as he spun his bottles in the air grabbing many on the fly, pouring cocktails and blends with amazing speed and style. A parrot rested on the shoulder of the girl beside me. She borrowed it from a tattoo hippy with a crinkled face, smoking like a chimney.
"She was Tanned and wrinkled, we never ever recognized her name, yet white as well as tanned as well as wrinkled, was trying to find a game. We saw her at bench at Woodys and supplied her a beverage. She minor, well-tanned, and also enjoyable. She reached be quite pretty as Woody put his double rum.
