72 Hours in Magical Madrid
Enjoy the latest blob by the Avid Traveller: In the Autumn of 2024, Calum Glenny,the Avid Travellrer embarked on a whirlwind 72-hour trip to Madrid with friends, beginning with a lively, history-filled city expedition. Our centrally located hotel on Calle de Atocha made it easy to gain access to Madrid's cultural and culinary highlights. Walking through dynamic squares, we immersed ourselves in the city's history and dynamic atmosphere. Our group's varied choices caused various activities. Suzanne and Richard started the firstday one night with a remarkable supper at Bodega de los Secretos, a cozy, centuries-old restaurant filled with beauty. The following my other half and I signed up with a tapas and wine walking tour led by the enthusiastic Mario. We checked out numerous local hotspots, including a mushroom specialty bar and an Iberian delicatessen, while learning more about Madrid's history and culture.
